The Dead Man’s Carnival will be performing on October 3rd at 10pm at the Stonefly Brewery (map). Tickets are $10 at the door, $8 if you come in costume.

The Dead Man’s Carnival features the dying art of Vaudevillian variety, including live music, magic, burlesque, side show circus stunts, dancing, juggling, and fire eating/spinning/breathing.

The Brew City Bombshells are currently seeking talent to enhance their already fabulous shows. This audition is not for a permanent spot in the group, but for a database of talent available for shows. They are looking for all kinds of talent: juggling, belly dancers, hula hoopers, drag queens, etc.

Auditions will be held on Sunday, September 20th from 12-3pm at Stonefly Brewery (735 E. Center St, Milwaukee – map). Anyone interested in participating should send a message via Myspace or email them at brewcitybombshells [at] gmail.com.

Please include your name, cellphone number (or number where you can be reached), email, and type of talent. Time slots are assigned on a first come, first serve basis. Please arrive 30 minutes before your assigned time in full costume. Bring all necessary props and your music on a cd or iPod.

The Brew City Bombshells burlesque group are putting on a Christmas In July extravaganza burlesque performance at the Stonefly Brewery Saturday, July 18th at 10pm.

The performance will also feature comedy group The M.U.T.E.S. and the return of the one and only Clownvis Presley.
